Yeshua said, “I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10). Truly there is great rejoicing in Heaven today. I am thrilled to tell you that nearly 400 members of the Bnei Menashe of Manipur, India came to faith in Yeshua as their Messiah and Savior during our medical clinic outreach.
Thanks to your love and compassion for them, we were able to treat more than 7,600 members of this lost tribe—far more than we had expected—for medical, dental and optical needs. Dozens of surgeries were performed, hundreds were healed in answer to prayer, and the love of God was shown to this group of Jewish People.
And what we did not realize until we arrived was that many of the people to whom we ministered over the past few days are making aliyah to Israel this month! We knew that thousands of the Bnei Menashe had been approved to return to Israel and that they would be going soon, but not quite that soon. This is a great reminder that God’s timing is always perfect—and that we must do His work today before it is too late.
I’ve already heard from several friends in Israel and in the States who are very concerned about the outcome of the election and its impact on the future of US-Israeli relations. God is not taken by surprise…and the defense of Israel from her enemies is not ultimately dependent on any human being or institution. We must continue to be faithful in prayer, trusting in God as the Keeper of Israel to hear and answer our prayers.
